Items found in italian abandoned Industries
All the parts of these two lamps were found in different abandoned industries in northern Italy.
Some years ago i went on a trip with Giorgio, my workmate in rota-Lab, to visit some abandoned buildings of old factories in a region where many of them are abandoned. We were in Lombardia. We saw some incredible spaces, where plants and nature took over, completely changing the atmosphere, which became really fascinating. We found a lot of objects that we brought back to Rome: old chairs, lampshades, books and strange things which we couldn't give any evident function.
We took everything with us and, once in the studio, I started to assemble them trying to give them a new life.
These two lamps came out, whose names come from labels that are on some of the parts that compose them
